Sankyodai is the Japanese restaurant located in Bangkok. The owner’s requirement is to utilise the wood material in a new way to create an atmosphere of Japanese nature. Under the limited budget, recycled eucalyptus wood from construction site that use as a supporter is chosen as main material. It can be found from construction site around that area which sell very cheap. The collected wood is chopped into small pieces then attach to the suspend ceiling to create the warm and Japanese traditional atmosphere.
