Serpentine Pavilion Proposal, 2016
The competition for Serpentine gallery to construct annual pavilion. The pavilion introducing a space to enhance a connection between the Serpentine gallery and the city. A Pavilion Serves Numberless of Activities. The triangle pavilion allows to form both of physical and visual connections and a new relationship between the park and the Serpentine gallery for serving diverse activities at the gallery.
A floating-like roof by the fine composition of aluminium panels creates delicate and dynamic expression. Integration of membrane and lamella systems offers smooth catenary curve shape and light weight structure. Simple joint system to provide shortening of a construction period and being capable of dismantled and re-erected.
