Intimacy cloud, 2015

Intervention to Tokyo’s traditional alleyway to enhance “Public Intimacy” by application of wasted coffee ground as an environmentally sensitive building material. The aim of this research is to examine how coffee ground as an architectural composite material can be calculated the expected movement and final geometry driven by the material inner’s properties without the support of mechanic or electricity source. To be able to control the way material warps itself from flat domain to achieve complex 3 Dimensions form in order to connect with the neighbour component.Subsequently, this paper probe the method of component box morphing within 3 dimensional grid network with regards to space visual analysis and the porosity property of component.
